Useful work done with a practical mindset

OTGRND takes on work that fits our tools, skills, schedule, and ability to deliver a useful result. Some jobs are simple and local. Some are custom. Some are technical. The common thread is practical work that solves a real problem.

Enclosures, brackets, prototypes, 3d modeeling, test fixtures, small fabrication, wiring, Raspberry Pi or ESP32 projects, and unusual problems that need to be built, tested, or figured out.

Rural Property Checkups

Local site visits with photos, notes, and condition reports for rural land, cabins, barns, containers, gates, equipment, storm checks, and out-of-town property owners.

Sawmill & Lumber

Small-scale sawmill work, lumber processing, rough-cut material, and project-based wood support. Good for local builds, farm use, rustic projects, and practical lumber needs.

Custom Woodwork & Builds

Furniture, fixtures, small structures, shop projects, outdoor pieces, repairs, and one-off builds where a practical custom solution makes more sense than buying something standard.

Not every job will fit, but it is worth asking

OTGRND is intentionally broad, but not unlimited. If a job fits our equipment, experience, location, and schedule, we may be able to help. If it does not fit, we will try to be clear about that early.

Good fits

Practical local work, rural property needs, custom builds, sawmill-related jobs, monitoring projects, one-off fabrication, and problems that need a hands-on approach.

Project-based quotes

Most work is quoted based on travel, time, materials, equipment needed, complexity, and whether the result is a service, build, install, or experimental project.
